Your first and last name, your email address, the Texas county you named, and your answers to the questions about your goal, your timeline, the credit band you selected, how you are paid, roughly how much you have available, which credit events apply to you, and what you currently pay for housing. You can also tell us which language you want a reply in and a good time of day.

It also records where you arrived from — the referring website, and any campaign tags on the link you clicked.

No Social Security number. No date of birth. No phone number. No exact income figure, loan amount, or property address. No documents, no pay stubs, no identification.

Those omissions are on purpose. Collecting that combination would turn these questions into a credit application with obligations attached to it, and collecting a phone number would mean asking for calling and texting consent we have no use for. There is nothing to opt out of because there is nothing to opt into.

No credit report is pulled at any point, and nothing you do on this site affects your credit score.

Your answers are emailed to Gabriel Montelongo, and a confirmation is emailed to you. That is the whole system. There is no database, no customer relationship system, and no account for you to log into — your answers are not stored on this website after the email is sent.

Email is delivered by Resend, a transactional email provider, which processes the message in order to send it. That is the only outside service this website uses.

Montel Mortgages LLC is a mortgage broker. If you go on to apply for a loan, your information is submitted to a wholesale lender — in most cases Rocket Pro TPO — or to another participating lender, so the loan can be underwritten. That step only happens if you decide to apply, and it is a separate act from answering these questions.

Information may also be disclosed where the law requires it, such as in response to a lawful request from a regulator, including the Texas Department of Savings and Mortgage Lending.

Your information is not sold. It is not shared with advertising networks, and there is no advertising or analytics pixel on the pages that collect it.

These questions are not an application and never become one. If your result offers a link to start an application, that link takes you to LendingPad, a separate loan origination system Montel Mortgages LLC uses. It is not this website.

That system asks for what a real application requires and this site refuses to collect — your Social Security number, your actual income, the property. Once you are there, LendingPad's own terms and privacy practices apply to what you enter, alongside ours as the broker receiving it. Following the link is entirely your choice, and you can stop at any point.

There is no mailing list, no newsletter, and no automated marketing sequence. The only emails this website sends are the confirmation of something you submitted and my reply to it.

The site is served over HTTPS only. Your answers are sent in the request body, never in a web address, so they do not end up in browser history or in a link you might share by accident. The email provider's credentials are held on the server and are never exposed to your browser.

As a mortgage broker, Montel Mortgages LLC is a financial institution under the FTC Safeguards Rule and maintains an information security program accordingly.

This website sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party tracking pixel. Your browser's language preference is used once, to decide whether to show you the English or the Spanish version of a page.

This website is meant for adults seeking mortgage financing and is not directed at children.

Because nothing is stored here, a request to correct or delete usually means deleting the emails. Write to Gabe at the address on the contact page and say what you want done, and he will confirm when it is done.

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
